Emilie and Sam met in French class in grade 10 and dated throughout high school. They lost touch after graduation, but reconnected online a few years later. With Emilie living in Halifax and Sam in Ottawa, it was a long-distance relationship until Emilie moved back to do her Masters degree. When they decided to get married, they turned to Pop-Up Wedding Ottawa to provide the event of their dreams.
Emilie and Sam married in the summer of 2021 at the Herb Garden, a beautiful wedding venue in Almonte, ON. They chose a mid-week ceremony with a traditional cake cutting and a harpist that added a calm, romantic ambience.
