Katie and Bryan
We love this couple not only for their easy-going spirit but also for their love of family which was displayed throughout their wedding ceremony.
Katie and Bryan originally planned to get married in Hampton Park but in the week leading up to their big day, there was an exceptional amount of rainfall in Ottawa making the location less than ideal. With only four days before the wedding, Katie and Bryan made the decision to change the venue to the historic Rockcliffe Pavilion.
Surrounded by their two children and parents, the couple incorporated many wedding traditions including writing of their own vows, cutting of a cake, a celebratory toast, and a family and couples photography session.
When asked why they decided to have a pop-up wedding, Katie said “Neither of us likes to be centre of attention. We are classic introverts! The pageantry of a wedding never appealed but the sentiment and commitment of marriage does.”
We’re so glad we got to make this happen for such a wonderful couple. This was a gorgeous wedding to capture and we wish them the best in their future together!
