The day before Rachele and Valerie’s ceremony scheduled for the MacKenzie King Estate, an unprecedented heatwave hit the National Capital Region. To ensure the safety and comfort of their guests, Rachele and Valerie made a last-minute decision to change the wedding from outdoors to indoors.
Pop-Up Wedding Ottawa was happy to accommodate as we are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure we meet the wants and needs of our couples!
Rachele and Valerie were friends for two years before their relationship transitioned to love and then marriage. While the couple lives in Toronto, they opted for an Ottawa wedding to ensure their Ottawa-based families could attend.

Valerie and Rachele have both lived in Ottawa over the years and especially love Gatineau Park, so the Estate Package, whose wedding venue is in the park, was a perfect fit. Despite having to move indoors, the wedding was beautiful and romantic, just like the lovely couple.
