This beautiful couple met six years ago and they haven’t looked back. Their easy-going nature and love for family was on display throughout their wedding day as they opted for an at-home wedding. Only a few steps away from the Rideau River and surrounded by mature trees, the couple exchanged their vows surrounded by close family. They decided to follow a few traditions including not seeing each other before the ceremony. When they did see one another, it was a very special moment for both of them and they were beaming! They did however opt to add a contemporary spin by serving Benjamin’s favourite sweet treat, Suzy- Q donuts, in lieu of a wedding cake.
When asked what their pop-up wedding experience was like, Benjamin said “We thought about what aspects of a wedding were most important to us, and decided it was really about our commitment to each other. We also wanted to include the people who mattered the most to us, which were our immediate families, so doing something small made sense for us.”
We’re so glad we got to make this happen for such a nice couple. This was a gorgeous wedding to capture and we wish them the best in their future together.
